Research dashboard
Search approved medicines for AI-predicted activity against four drug-resistant pathogens, and see what evidence is already documented for each one.
1,761
Approved medicines
Approved medicines matched to the FDA Orange Book, antimicrobials included
1,276
Medicines with ≥40% AI-predicted activity
Against at least one of the four supported pathogens; each medicine counted once
1,019
Repurposing candidates
Of those, the medicines that are not already antimicrobials
How the repurposing candidates are counted
1,761approved medicines
1,276with AI-predicted activity ≥40% against at least one pathogen
− 485 below ≥40%, not counted
1,120not already antimicrobials
− 156 already antimicrobials, set aside
1,019repurposing candidates
− 101 needing review, kept in the library
Existing antimicrobials are identified from WHO ATC codes and FDA pharmacologic classes. Medicines needing review (neither source says whether they are antimicrobials) stay in the approved-medicine download, marked “unclassified”. They are not assumed to be non-antimicrobials, so they are not counted as candidates.

AI-predicted activity is a model’s estimate that a molecule is active against a pathogen in the laboratory. It is not clinical effectiveness. The models describe each pathogen species; the data behind them rarely records resistant strains.
